About FIMS

The Free Internet Morabaraba Server was conceived and implemented by Adam Oellermann. FIMS will be released under the GNU GPL when it is operational.

 

FIMS has two main parts: a telnet server and this web site. The base sockets library which supports the FIMS telnet server is phpSocketDaemon, by Chris Chabot, published under the GNU LGPL.

 

The FIMS website is powered by Drupal. The FIMS theme was created by Adam Oellermann, based on the Contented7 theme by Tom Rowan.

 

Ragin' Ned, the site logo and mascot, was drawn by Drew Northcott of Bongofish.

 

Development and hosting of the web site as well as the FIMS telnet server is sponsored by Ballaird Ltd, which is where you will find Adam Oellermann. You should contact Ballaird if you're looking for an Internet application with a little something extra.
